Passive chemistry laminates provide an effective barrier against active chemical agents and toxic industrial chemicals but are not designed to destroy such agents. The mission of the passive chemistry laminate is to provide an impermeable, chemical and biological resistant material that is durable, lightweight, and flexible. The laminate is assembled into a protective shelter for defense, military, and other forward-moving emergency personnel.

We employ core technologies in fibers, films, coatings, and adhesion to engineer and manufacture passive chemistry laminates for commercial applications and military shelters. In addition to supplying our tent materials to other manufacturers, Warwick also fabricates structures. Structures and shelters are custom designed based upon client specifications. Additional custom-formulated layers provide other required attributes, such as blackout protection and thermal management.

Warwick's unique and comprehensive capability to manufacture textile fiber, film, and adhesive ingredients into a complete laminate within one facility provides a clear advantage for the customer. This vertical integration ensures that critical performance factors (such as adhesion) are not threatened by the possibility of contamination—which could happen if the product was to leave our care to go to another site. Another advantage for the customer is the complete traceability of all materials and processes in one location.
